I don't think so. Call them to check
Great place for Japanese food. I've had the sushi and it was fresh and quick. Had the Miso Udon with tempura this time. The soup was hot, the udon was just right, and the egg was still soft in the center. Perfect! Was the right amount of food for me, and price was reasonable. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent and just up from the seabus terminal in North Van so even if you're downtown on foot it's an option.
The timing was perfect and the fish was the best I've had.
Excellent sushi, and the house made wasabi is amazing
Always a favorite for a decent and enjoyable experience. The food is a well rounded experience with multiple price points and sizes to suit everyone from large eaters to small pickers. Food ranges from hot food to cold sashimi delights, with even sukiyaki avaliable.Come for the modern, cost environment with excellent service, stay for the well price and delicious food.
Food is great and people are friendly
Very good quality sushi and *real* wasabi always satisfied eating here
By far the best place for Sushi in the North Shore, authentic delicious japanese food. Simply outstanding, very clean and very relaxed atmosphere. Flawless food and service.
Good food â¤ï¸ for a fair price
Good place to have sushi
This is a very authentic Japanese restaurant with a real Japanese chef. The sushi is very high quality starting with what I think is high quality koshihikari sushi rice, then very fresh seafood. I highly recommend this place a bit pricey but very good.
Yummy, loved the pork ginger. Will try curry next time.
I love that they only serve wild salmon and not farmed salmon and only real crab and don't use any MSG. They obviously really care about the quality of their food and that means a lot to me! Service was great and overall a very pleasant experience. We will definitely come again!
Great sushi, it was tasty and unique! The karrage was awesome and sashimi was fresh. They messed up our bills so use caution if you ask for separate cheques. Limited English here.
One of my favorite, quite place to enjoy brunch beer, or late night izakaya. Recommend for business client meetings, ambient and quite. There sushis are beyond expectation, but the real deal is the Sukiyaki. Must reserve 24 hours prior.I recommend.
Best sushi place on North Vancouver. Reasonable prices, good quality of food and friendly service. Great place for both lunch and dinner. Opens at 5pm for dinner.
Very good sushi. also vinegared rice was tasty too.
A true japanese chef. One of the best in vancouver.
I've been going here for 15 years. Love the food, the chef and the atmosphere. He doesn't use farmed salmon, only real crab, what more can you ask for. I recommend Yohachi to anyone that tells me they like sushi.
Nice clean place. The size if the meal is quite small though.
Very nice place , sushi was ok not too tasty and the portion was too small and it took forever to get our order , we felt asleep waiting our food
A really good Japanese restaurant. They all look Japanese to me so that's worth trying at least. The price is nice and the environment is decent too. However, if you're a big eater, you're probably gonna add to the bill. All in all, a good choice of you're in the area for Japanese food.Just a heads up: The fried oysters are quite small. The tempura sauce for the Nebeyaki is in the soup (traditional style we were told). The rice tasted fresh too!
Best sushi in North Van hands down. And a GREAT team of people
After spending time in Japan I have a unique perception on sushi. Adore Yohachi Sushi in North Vancouver. Quality sashimi. Fantastic service and we enjoyed cold saki. Favourite in North Vancouver. Omg I forgot the Miyagi Oysters in ponzu sauce. Yummy!!!!
Very home like, nice place to eat. Wholesome, tasty and healthy food. Definitely recommend.
Nice service
One of the best Japanese restaurants on the North Shore, with authentic and tasty dishes. Worth a visit!
Yohachi is the best restaurant if you want really good Japanese food with good price!Their food are fresh and so tasty. Is close to seabus in North Vancouver, so if you are in Downtown you can easily go there.
We're long time customers. It's open for pickkup or through food delivery service. Weekend evening order-in can get a bit busy, but it's worth waiting. Highly recommended.
The Food at Yohachi is Sacred & Genuine Authentic Japanese Food. The Food and Experience here literally Changed My Life For The Better! Up! Give Thanks!!! ðŸ™ðŸ½
Great sushi! And the udon noodles were really tasty too. Got take out and it didn’t disappoint. Some of the best sushi I have had in Van.
Decent place. I won't say great food. But not bad food also. Just decent enough. Seating is really bad. Can't take kids here at all. No possibility of managing the kids in this place while you eat. Really congested. Okay for a quick lunch or dinner with your friend or partner. Not good for groups as well.
So nice!!This restaurant is one of the few places where Japanese people make sushi. Real SUSHI!!
Excellent quality fish and rice. Super friendly staff. Understated and authentic atmosphere. Yohachi is my favourite sushi and izakaya spot in North Van by far.
Great service. Selection is not as spectacular as other restaurants, but they were able to specially make an Oyako Don for me since it wasn't on the actual menu. Prices aren't too bad.
Nice atmosphere, great service and food. Could just be my new favourite sushi restaurant in North Vancouver
Probably the best sushi I've ever eaten before! Lovely food.
Our favorite sushi spot on the North Shore. The owner and his wife are super friendly and the food is amazing. It's the higher end of the price spectrum but well worth it.
Such a nice spot. Taka is a great chef. Live this place
One of few Japanese owned restaurants that I know! Really good food and very authentic!
Good authentic Japanese food made and served by Japanese people. We went there for lunch and it filled up very close to capacity for by around noon. They're advertising serving a Japanese hotpot, sukiyaki, that I look forward to having someday soon!
Very authentic, very tasty Japanese food. Not cheap, but quiet and clean. Great service!
Wonderful, flavourful food. Be sure to try the Dobinmushi soup - delicious! The staff were absolutely fantastic as well, and the location super convenient to Lonsdale Quay/SeaBus.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was busy but not too crowded. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was a nice change not having loud music over the speakers when eating. The food was great, good portion sizes and well done. The service was friendly and quick. I would recommend this place.
Excellent food and service! Went there twice! The setting is a lot nicer than most sushi places, staff is friendly and knowledgeable!Food is excellent!
Always come with my buddy every Friday. They remember what we want including the drinks. Awesome food and people.
